Hilda Crowe Champagne passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at her home in 
Covington, LA. She was born on May 19, 1919 in Bogalusa, LA to the late Gordon 
Crowe and Luna Penny Crowe.

Hilda was married to her beloved husband, Thomas J. “Sonny” Champagne, Jr., for 
66 years. 
She is survived by their son, Thomas J. Champagne, III and his wife, Erin 
Sweeney Champagne. Hilda was the sister of James “Pete” Crowe and his wife, 
Ann, the late Aubrey Crowe, Dorman Crowe, and Bonnie Crowe Holiday. Hilda is 
survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Graveside Service 
on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 
Covington, LA at 11:30 AM. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at E. J. Fielding 
Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. 

If desired, donations in the name of Hilda C. Champagne may be made to the 
American Heart Association.
