Donna Marie Richardson Meissner was called home by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at St. Tammany Parrish Hospital, after a courageous battle with lung cancer, at the age of 45.  
Donna was born on Sunday, March 2, 1969 in New Orleans, LA and resided in Belle Chasse, LA.

Donna was greeted at the Gates of Heaven by her uncle, Edward Bivalacqua; grandparents, John and Ethel Maxine Bivalacqua Lane and Rosario “Benny” Bivalacqua; and her sister, Paula Sutton.

Donna will be forever remembered in the hearts of her daughter, Brittany Meissner; her partner, Alois “Rusty” Guepet; mother, Linda Bivalacqua, father, Robha Richardson; sister, Pamela Croucher; brother, Lee “Skip” Sutton Jr.; nephews, Anthony Labat and Austin Croucher; niece, Katelyn Croucher; and numerous aunts and uncles, especially, Lee and Dorcas “Nanny” Sutton, cousins and close friends.

Donna worked for Morale Welfare and Recreation for 20+ years where she had countless friends that she considered family. Donna was an incredible person and loved spending time with her daughter and work family. She also loved cooking with her family and a perfectly seasoned Bloody Mary.

A private Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held by her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Lung Association in Louisiana
