She was born on Wednesday, January 8, 1913 in St. Rose, LA to Demianna "Marian" Viola and Dominic Casella. She lived most of her life in Mid-City New Orleans before moving to Madisonville, LA in 2006. The beloved wife of the late Curtis Montero, she is survived by her loving caregiver and great-niece - Jennifer Hegeman and her two sons, Jackson and Harrison Hegeman; and one sister - Grace Cassard. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters - Joann Siener and Christine George; and three brothers - Peter, Rosario "Russell" and Anthony Casella. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and dear friends. A prayer service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, 11:00 am, at St. Anthony Padua Catholic Church, 4640 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. Cremation services were entrusted to E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington, LA. ===================
