Beloved wife of the late William C. Terral M.D. and first husband, Philip John Foto; loving mother of John Philip Foto, Carol Ann Carimi, Diane Rose Klotz, Cynthia Ann Foley, and James Gross Foto; daughter of the late James and Victoria Gross; and sister of Ruthmary Tufts and Shirly Buddendorf. She was preceded in death by her daughter Phylis Ann Foto and her sister, Estelle Hart. Doris grew up in uptown New Orleans, was a graduate of McMain High School, married and raised her six children in Lakeview. She was very attentive to the needs of her family and was very hospitable to neighbors and friends. Doris was very enthusiastic toward life and loved fishing, boating, and traveling. She was the grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 16. In August, 2007, Doris heard the saving message of the Gospel regarding the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ. She received and believed God sent His Son to die on the cross for her sin. She followed immediately in obedience to the Word of God by water baptism in the presence of many witnesses including her children and Bible study group. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at First Baptist Church of Covington, 16333 Hwy 1085, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM. The family will be greeting friends and relatives from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation in memory of Mrs. Terral to be made to First Baptist Church of Covington. ===================
