Mary Payton Olivia Vigil passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at home 
with her family in Mandeville, LA. 

She was born on Wednesday, May 28, 2003 in Little Rock, AR to Joseph Orlando 
Vigil and Nikki Hale Vigil.

Mary Payton was the beloved sister of Maison Elizabeth Vigil. She will be 
dearly missed by her grandparents Orlando Vigil and Pat Holloway Vigil of 
Covington, LA, and Doug Hale and Bettye Hand Hale of Hendersonville, TN. Mary 
Payton was the great granddaughter of Ruby Hand. She was the niece of Trent and 
Teresa Hale.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, March 2, 
2015 at 3:00 PM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Ave., Covington, 
LA. A Wake will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. 
Visitation on Monday, March 2, 2015 will be from 1:00 PM until service time. 

If desired, donations in the name of Mary Payton Vigil may be made to the 
Batten Disease Support and Research Association.
