Ronald E. Wooley passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. 
He was born on Thursday, August 21, 1947 in Salem, IL to Mary Francis Coleman 
and Linder Wooley and has been a resident of Madisonville for 40 years.

The beloved husband of Bethany O'Keefe Wooley, he is survived by his step-
children - Charles Holcombe, Chad Holcombe, Cory Holcombe (Sarah), James 
Lockhart (Stephanie), Latricia Lockhart, Derrick Lockhart; six grandchildren – 
Kate-Lynn, Trey, Bridgitte, Hailey, Roman and Lincoln and one great grandson, 
Kayden. 

His parents preceded him in death.

Ronie was a veteran of the Vietnam War having honorably served the Army of the 
United States' 5th Special Forces Recondo Group/173rd Airborne Brigade. He 
recently retired from Schindler Elevator Company where he had been an elevator 
mechanic for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects to Ronie and visit with the 
family from 4-7:00 PM on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at E.J. Fielding Funeral 
Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433. Funeral services will begin at 
7:00 PM. 

Interment will take place at a later date.
