Joanne Terry Cothern went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the 
age of 80.

Beloved wife of James Alvin Cothern. Loving mother of John Cothern (Selena), 
James “Jimmy” Cothern, Jr. (Lisa) and Julie Mendel (Paul). Daughter of the late 
Mona Price Terry and Henry Perry Terry. Sister of John Terry and the late 
Claude Terry, Jacqueline Leonhard, Bill Terry and Gene Terry. Grandmother of 
Johnny Cothern (Dianne), Tyler Cothern, Travis Cothern (Sheri), Garret Cothern, 
Bryce Cothern, Carlee and Kathryn Cothern, Carson Mendel, Micayla Mendel, 
Samuel Hoover Cothern. Great-grandmother of Brenley, Brock and Brooklyn 
Cothern.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. 
Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Sunday, 
March 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Sunday beginning at 12:00 noon. 

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation in memory of Mrs. Cothern to 
be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC
