She was born on February 13, 1929 in New Orleans, LA to the late Louis Denapolis and Anna Mae Chaplain Denapolis. Marilynn was married to her beloved husband, Harry J. Delaune for 65 years and together they had two children, Harry J. “Rick” Delaune, Jr. (Malise Prieto) and Reynour L. Delaune (Donna). She was the sister of Jackolyn Tortorich, Joseph D. Denapolis, and the late Louis L. Denapolis, Jr. Marilynn is also survived by her three granchildren, Brandon R. Delaune, Richelle Lee Delaune, and Angelle Marilynn Delaune and one great-grandchild, Bayla Elizabeth Delaune. Marilynn loved music and passed this love on to her sons at their home in River Ridge. In her younger years, Marilynn was an avid sailor on an Easterly 30 Class sailboat with her family on Lake Pontchartrain and along the Gulf Coast. She was a past member of New Orleans & Pontchartrain Yacht Clubs. After she and her husband both retired from Hardie's Wagner Marine Supply in New Orleans, Marilynn and Harry spent the hot summer months of each year traveling abroad and throughout the U.S. She made many cherished friends as part of the Good Sam and the Holiday Rambler RV Club, as well as the Holiday Rambler Owners Club. Marilynn was a past President of Mardi Gras Ramblers RV Club, and she served for 5 years as Louisiana Governor for Friends International RV Club. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Friday, March 27th, 2015 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 4465 Hwy 190 East Service Rd, at 11:00 AM with Visitation from 9:30 AM until service time ===================
