He was born in Lafayette, LA on December 12, 1930 to the late Stanley Joseph LeBlanc, Sr. and Cora Prejean LeBlanc. He was predeceased by his sister Dornice (Tootie) LeBlanc Clark (Tommy). He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Betty Hamilton LeBlanc and their two children, Emily “Em” LeBlanc Cooper (Brandon) of Baton Rouge and Stanley “Joey” LeBlanc, III, of Mandeville, and his granddaughter, Madison Grace LeBlanc. He was previously married to the late Joan Gibson LeBlanc and is survived by his two children from that marriage, Stephen J. LeBlanc, of California, and Angelle LeBlanc Authement Mohr of Jefferson, LA and his two grandchildren Michael Mohr (Shannon) and Kyle Mohr. Also survived by his sister Gail LeBlanc Giacobbe (George), and many nieces and nephews. Stan was a graduate of Holy Cross High School, New Orleans; Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA; University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin; American Institute of Banking (AIB) and Banking Administrative Institute (BAI). He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War, and Navy Reserve. He was Assistant Comptroller of Hibernia National Bank for over 20 years; Vice President of the Accounting Department of Bank of New Orleans; Accountant for the Law Firm of Lawrence Smith & Associates, and became self-employed in the late 1980’s. Stan was a semi-pro baseball player for the U. S. Navy, an avid golfer and bowler. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 02, 2015 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA.
