LEPOMA, JOYCE ELLENDER 
July 17, 1931 - March 5, 2015

Joyce Ellender Lepoma passed away on Thursday, March 05, 2015 in Covington, LA. 

She was born on Friday, July 17, 1931 in New Orleans, LA to the late John Ralph 
Ellender and Marjorie Exnicious Ellender.

Joyce was married to her beloved husband, the late Sam Lapoma, for 30 years. 
She was the loving mother of, Robert Pete (Fran), Sandra P. Gillespie (George), 
Richard Pete, Sheila P. Gager, Jim Pete, the late Ronald Pete, Gerald Pete, and 
Michael Pete. 

She leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Joyce was the 
sister of Davis Ellender, the late Roy Ellender, Lloyd Ellender, Ruby Portener, 
Ronald Ellender, Stephen Ellender, and Burt Ellender. 

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond M. Pete.

A memorial service is being planned and will be published here as soon as 
details are available.
