Jordan was born January 14, 1993, in Metairie, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of Slidell, Louisiana. He attended Slidell schools, graduated from Northshore High school in 2011, and attended Delgado Community College while pursuing a degree in zoology. Jordan was a kind and gentle soul who was full of life and possessed an infectious smile that made you want to know and love him. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being surrounded by nature. He also liked to bring nature back home with him as evidenced by his many pets that he cared for growing up. Jordan was most excited about the pending birth of his first child with girlfriend Bethany Norred and also enjoyed engaging in social activities with his friends and annual family vacations to the beach and mountains where he got to spend time with those closest to him. He is lovingly remembered by his mother and father, John and Tyonia Schick; his two brothers, Joshua Schick (Lacey) and Tyler Schick; sister, Brielle Schick; paternal grandmother, Emma Schick; maternal grandparents, Louis and Linda Diaz; one niece, Baelee Schick; one nephew, Joshua Schick Jr., and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jordan is predeceased by his sister, Gabrielle Schick; paternal grandfather, Arthur Schick; and uncle, Ned Couvillion. Funeral Services will be held at First Pentecostal Church of Slidell, 388 Robert Blvd, Slidell, on Thursday, March 12, 2015. Friends may visit at the church on Thursday beginning at 9:00am.
