Larry Don Wilson passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in Covington, LA at 
the age of 70.  
Larry was born on Wednesday, November 22, 1944 and was a resident of Slidell 
for 30 years. 

Major Wilson retired as Communications Officer from the United States Marine 
Corps after 29 years of faithful service and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry F. and Ella Jean Carmen 
Wilson.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Shirley Wilson; his sons, Scott 
Allen (Beth) and Michael Glenn Wilson (Megan); his bonus family, Eric Lumetta 
(Vickie), Tara Thomas (Geoff), and Dee Pew (Ben); grandchildren, Heather and 
Jessica Wilson, Brenae, Abigail and Kathleen Wilson, Jordan, Jenna, and Jared 
Lumetta, Jessie and Brennan Pew.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service with Military 
Honors at the Southeast Louisiana Military Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College 
Dr., Slidell, LA 70460 on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 10:00 am.  

In lieu of flowers, donations  may be made to the
Boy Scouts of America; Southeast Louisiana Council; 1325 West Walnut Hill Lane
