Burns entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 02, 2015 at the age of 84. She is the beloved wife of Louis D. Burns for 64 years, and the beloved mother of Louis E. Burns (Harriet), Mary Ann Moity (Glenn), Michael J. Burns (Rhonda) and Theresa Elie (Clifford). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary, her father Salvador Incarnato and her daughter-in-law Kathleen Burns. She was a recipient of the St. Louis Medallion for her work and dedication to the Parish of St. Robert Bellarmine. She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Robert Bellarmine and the Legion of Mary. She was a longtime resident of Arabi, LA and a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 9 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 06, 2015 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment in St. Vincent DePaul #3 Mausoleum, New Orleans, LA. In Lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred. ===================
