On Sunday April 12, 2015 Carroll Newman age 71 of Lacombe, LA went to be with 
Our Lord. 

Mr. Newman held many occupations in his lifetime such as Cross country truck 
driver, Sergeant with the Slidell Police Department, Assistant Chief for 
Mandeville Police Department, Pile driver, Construction worker, Maintenance 
worker, Pipe fitter, and Crain operator. 
He was a member of Lacombe Masonic Lodge #459 and had a strong passion for 
Hunting, fishing, gardening and spending as much time as he could with his 
grandson. 

Mr. Newman is survived by his wife Mary Newman, his daughter Julia Ann Jackson 
(husband Andy), grandson Collin Hunter Jackson, and numerous nieces, nephews 
and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Dewitt and Eunice Newman, and his 
brothers Denman Newman and Leon Newman.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday April 18, 2015 from 12pm - 2 pm with 
service starting at 2 pm from the chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home 67525 
Hwy 41 Pearl River, LA
