Arlene Theresa Cormier Place passed away on Easter Sunday, April 05, 2015 in 
Mandeville, LA. She was born on Wednesday, November 16, 1927 to Premilia 
LeBlanc and George Cormier in Springfield, MA and was a resident of Mandeville 
since 1967.

The beloved wife of Frederick Richard Place, Jr., she is survived by two 
children - Lynn Place Lagarde and Jeff Place (Gigi); two sisters - Marilyn 
Cormier and Corinne Cormier Despres; one brother - William Cormier; and four 
grandchildren - Andrew and Matthew Lagarde, Geoffrey and Sara-Victoria Place. 
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George, Jr.

According to Arlene's wishes, a private ceremony was held to celebrate her 
life. Arlene wanted all friends and family to celebrate her life by spending 
time with their family.

E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington was entrusted with arrangements.
