Lazada “Sally” Davis passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at her residence in 
Covington, Louisiana, with her companion, Eddie Taylor by her side.  
She was 73.   

She was born October 1, 1941 in Columbia, Mississippi to Marshal Enik Phelps 
and Lillie Mae Nations.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshal Phelps and Lillie Mae Phelps; 
her husband, Aldridge R. Davis; her daughter, Rebecca L. Green; her sisters, 
Charlene Buckley, Aileen McKenzie, Kathern Cameron, Louise McMichael and her 
twin sister, Lavada “Sarah” Breland.

Sally leaves behind two sons, Aaron “Rufus” and Reginald W. Davis; daughter-in-
law, Sandy Davis; as well as longtime companion, Eddie Taylor.   

Maw Maw will be dearly missed by her 10 grandchildren and 13 great 
grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel 
of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, Louisiana 70435 on 
Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 2:00 pm.  Visitation will be held on Friday evening 
from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday afternoon from 1:00 pm until service 
time at 2:00 pm.

Interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Folsom, Louisiana.
