JAMES R. GRADY, of Lacombe, LA, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015. He was 82 
years old.

Beloved husband of Joanne Ledoux Grady for 60 years.
Father of Michael Grady and wife, Jacki; Helen G. Cocran and husband Wallace; 
Kathy G. Harrison and husband Ray; Stephen “T-Bone” Grady; Sharon G. Goetz and 
husband, Mitch and the late William R. Grady.
Son of the late Edwin J. Grady and Marion Wright Grady.
Brother of: Charles Grady; John Grady and the late Richard Grady; Mary Jo G. 
Vales and Barbara G. Kern.
Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

James was a graduate of Texas A&M, a veteran of U.S Marine Corps, Korean War, 
and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2732.

Visitation will be at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church on Friday, May 29, 
2015, from 9:30A.M until 11:00 A.M.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at 
St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 61051 Brier Lake Drive, Lacombe, LA, on 
Friday, May 29, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment will follow at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, 
LA.

A reception will follow at the Community Center at St. John of the Cross 
Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Bill Grady CYLA 
Scholarship Fund, Whitney Bank.
