David Garfield Kinchen passed away on May 30, 2015. 

He was loved by his wife of 36 years, Laurie Kinchen, his three children: 
Adrianne, Travis and Lauren, and his four grandchildren: Matthew, Brooklyn, 
Ryder and Henry.

David was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Lockhead 
Martin after 28 years as an engineer. 
He spent his retirement years traveling with his beloved wife, Laurie. Two of 
his favorite travel destinations were Alaska and Italy.

David was active in a variety of community charities: Usher Society of St. 
Margaret Mary, Knights of Columbus 4th degree, Habitat for Humanity and SMH 
Cancer Society.

In keeping with David’s charitable and giving heart, the family requests 
donations be made to one of his many charities instead of flowers for services.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 
St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd, Slidell, LA on Wednesday, 
June 3, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment will follow in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, 
LA.

Visitation at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 
10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
