Born in Uniontown, PA, he grew up in Clairton, PA, attended Clairton High, where he lettered in both football and swimming. He attended Penn State on a swimming scholarship and won numerous awards and championships. He majored in Economics and became a member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity, Skull & Bones Society, Newman Club, Druids, Alpha Phi Omega, Lifeguard, Accounting Club, Ward Chairman and Junior Class President. After college, he worked as a stock broker in Pittsburgh, then was hired by Pan Am Airlines in Miami. There he met and married his future wife, Margaret Orr, and began a new career as a manager with SeaLand. After transfers to Chicago and New Orleans, he left SeaLand and started his own consulting company, Intermodal Consultants and Expeditors. He was very active over the years with the Lions Club, Kiwanis, and several other organizations. He loved to travel, especially to the beach, eat good Italian food or a good steak, and play the stock market. He was a loving husband to the late Margaret Alice Orr of 26 years, devoted father of Albert Robert Lucidi, Jr., Lisa Marie Lucidi, and Douglas Orr Lucidi, brother of Ida Runac and Joanne Dale and the late Jim Lucidi, Elvira O'Brien, Irene Lucas, and Claire Lucidi. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 5:00 pm. Visitation at the funeral home from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. ===================
