Ernest E. Maiwald passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 in Covington, LA. 
He was born on July 21, 1957 in Sioux Falls, SD to Ursula Gesekus Maiwald and 
the late Heinz Maiwald.

Ernie was married to his beloved wife, Linda Arntz Maiwald for 38 years and 
together they had three children, Amy M. Clinard (Scott), Kristen M. Bray 
(Michael), and Nathaniel Maiwald (Rita). He was the proud grandfather of Jordan 
and Justin Clinard, Karson and Kendal Acton, Mikey Bray, and Nathaniel Maiwald, 
Jr. Ernie was the brother of Karin Mueller, Ingrid McCaulley, Dieter Maiwald, 
Gisela Maiwald, and Lori Callahan.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service 
on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., 
Covington, LA 70433, at 2:00 PM with Visitation from 1:00 PM until service 
time. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in the name 
of Ernest E. Maiwald to Hospice of St. Tammany,
