William “Fred” Messer passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the age of 67.  

He was born in Biloxi, MS on September 30, 1947 to Julia Hosey Messer and the 
late Henry Ross Messer.  
He served in the US Air Force before working at Air Products where he retired 
in 2005. 

He was the cherished husband of 40 years to Ann Rotherham Messer.  Beloved 
Father of Julie Hebert (Matt), Rebecca Estain (Andy), Amy Messer and Emily 
Nolting (Eric).  Proud grandfather of Emma, Mikey, Payton, Ellie, Hunter and 
Macie. 

Fred/Dad/Popi will be dearly missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at First Baptist 
Church, 4141 Pontchartrain Drive, Slidell, LA on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 1:00 
pm until Memorial Service at 3:00 pm.
