Samantha Faye “Sam” Zoller passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 
St. Bernard Parish Hospital, after a lengthy battle with cancer, at the age of 
45.  
She was born on July 31, 1969 in New Orleans, LA.  She was a lifelong resident 
of St. Bernard Parish.

Sam attended Chalmette High School’s – Class of Special Education.  She loved 
to dance and attended disabled dancing school for ballet and tap.  She also 
loved listening to country music.  At the end of her journey, she enjoyed being 
taken on strolls at the park and looking at the ducks.

Samantha was preceded in death by grandparents, Alvin and Enola De St. Germain 
and her nephew, Richard R. Ragan.

Sam is survived by her mother, Linda S. De St. Germain Zoller of Meraux, La.; 
her sister, Jeanne M. Wagers; brother-in-law, J.P. G. Wagers, Jr.; nieces, 
Constance and Amy Wagers; and close relative, Catherine E. Borne; all of 
Chalmette, LA.  

She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, 
great nieces, great nephews, and friends.

Sam’s family extends a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of 
St. Bernard Parish Hospital, Hospice Compassus, and her caregiver, Nakera 
Demolle.

Relatives and friends, along with the employees from St. Bernard Parish 
Hospital, Hospice Compassus, Jessie's Touch, and Orleans Parish Sheriff's 
Office, are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Our Lady Prompt Succor 
Church, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, June 02, 2015 at 6:00 pm.
