He was born in Hazlehurst, MS on Saturday, September 13, 1930 to Mary Elizabeth Kline and Robert Lee Clark, Sr. and has been a resident of Mandeville, LA since 1973. He retired after 36 years from USS Agrichemical, Inc. near Abita Springs before dedicating himself to 15 years of public service with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, most important of which was tending to his gardens. The beloved husband of Nellie Inez Weathersby Clark, he is survived by three children - Bettie Clark Stone (David), Charles Clark (Terry), and Paul Clark (Kristin); one brother - Jimmy Clark (Eunice); eight grandchildren - Jennifer and Patrick Stone, Heather Stone Hopkins, Darren Clark, Dereck Clark, Dawn Clark Lynch, Caitlyn and Chase Clark; and five great grandchildren - Joshua Stone, Dylan Clark, Harper Hopkins, Warren and Barrett Lynch. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law - Ernestine Elkins, Jo Ann McCann, Joy Riedie; one brother-in-law - Jake Weathersby and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister - Mary Jane Clark Hamilton and two brothers - Charlie and Albert Clark. Special thanks to Louisiana Heart Hospital and Glenda Dobson. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:00 - 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433. A Funeral service will begin Saturday at 11:00 AM. Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA will immediately follow services. ===================
