She was embraced into the arms of her parents, the late Robert O. Cramer Sr. and Alberta Spilmann Cramer, and has been reunited with her daughter, Christen “Chrissy” Herbert and her brother, Edwin Cramer Sr. Christine was born on December 16, 1958 in New Orleans, LA and resided in Slidell. She attended Redemptorist High School. Her care and love for others lead her to become a nurse until her breast cancer diagnosis. She changed careers and went to work with the St. Tammany Parish School Board which allowed her to spend more time with her family. She will always be remembered for her life of devotion to her children and grandchildren. She fought a brave battle for 22 long years. Losing, to her, was not an option. Christine is survived by her soulmate, Joseph Heim; her beloved children, Ashley Borne, Michael Herbert, Melissa Herbert , Robert Herbert, Kevin Herbert (Alannah) and Sheri Heim; her adoring grandchildren, Olivia (Lulu), Blake, Abigail (Abby) Marcussen, Steven Batiste Jr., Carter Bucholz, Delaney Herbert, Adaline Herbert, Irie Heim, Gianna Price, and Shay Evens. She was a loving sister to Robert Cramer, Darlene Adams (Brian), Cathleen Schexnaydre (Kevin) Ronald Cramer, Randy Cramer (Cyndi), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Christine’s Life will be held at a later date. A special thank you to Slidell Memorial Hospital’s Oncology team, Dr. McElveen, and Lakeshore Hospice. “I have lost the war…, but I didn’t because I’ve been blessed to watch my children grow up, have kids of their own, and watch them achieve things that make me proud.” ===================
