ANN SAINE NELSON, 84, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015, 
in Slidell.

Beloved Wife of the late Barney B. Nelson Sr.;
Mother of Barney B. “Butch” Nelson Jr. (Joy), Mary “Kathy” Adkins (Clayton), 
and the late Thomas Greggory Nelson;
Daughter of the late Marvin and Jennie Saine;
Sister of Robert P. Saine, and William Saine, and the late Marvin Saine Jr.;
Also survived by three grandchildren: Clayton Adkins II, Samuel Austin Adkins, 
and Elizabeth Kathleen Ormsby; seven great-grandchildren; and the remaining 
“three musketeers”: Rose DeLaughter, and Mary Ann Melton.

A native of North Carolina, and a resident of Slidell for over sixty years, she 
was a member of First United Methodist Church in Slidell.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Funeral Services will be at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 9:00am.

Burial will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
