HERBERT L. STOLTZ, 83, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at 
5:46pm in Slidell, Louisiana.

Beloved Husband of the late Merline B. Stoltz;
Father of Brian Stoltz (Debra), Darryl Stoltz (Liz), and Keith Stoltz (Marie);
Son of the late Albert and Lena Stoltz;
Brother of Lillian Cantu, and the late David Stoltz Sr., Albert Stoltz Jr., 
William Stoltz Sr., Florence S. Farmer, and Marcella S. Kern;

Also survived by three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-
great-grandchild, and numerous nieces, and nephews.

A native of New Orleans, and a former resident of Terrytown, Mr. Stoltz had 
been a resident of Slidell since 1970. 
Herbert was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, and was a long-time parishioner and 
employee of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Slidell. He was also the 
manager of Badinger’s Nursery in New Orleans and he was the owner and operator 
of Stoltz Nursery and Landscape Co. in Slidell.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 
910 Crossgates Blvd, Slidell, on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 11:00am. Relatives 
and friends may visit at the church on Saturday, beginning at 9:00am.

Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery on Monday June 22, 2015 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Good Samaritan Ministry at St. 
Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church 910 Cross Gates Blvd. Slidell, LA. 70461
