Edgar Joseph “E. J.” Andry, Sr. passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015 at his home 
in Covington, LA. 
He was born on March 25, 1929 in New Orleans, LA to the late Edgar John Andry 
and Bridget Usey Andry.

E. J. was married to his beloved wife and best friend, the late Dorothy Lou 
Cannavan Andry, for 59 years and together they had five children, Shila Andry 
Myers (Michael), Denise Andry Federer (Ed), Michael Andry, Sr. (Mary Ann), Theo 
Andry (Ruth), and the late Edgar J. Andry, Jr. He leaves behind 14 
grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 on the way. E. J. was the brother 
of the late Gloria Oncale and Anna Mae Bankston. "Family is never forgotten."

E. J. was proud to serve his country in both the United States Marine Corps and 
the National Guard.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral 
Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 3:00 
PM with visitation from 1:00 PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, the 
family requests that donations in memory of Mr. Andry be made to the American 
Cancer Society,
