She was born on July 6, 1943 in New Orleans, LA to the late Maybelle Mary Rome and William Elbert McElroy. She was a longtime resident of Chalmette, LA and a current resident of Ponchatoula, LA. Beloved wife of William Antill. Loving mother of William Antill, Keith Antill (Natalie) and Tina Antill Walsh (Jay). Sister of Curtis McElroy (Virginia), Ula Mae Spencer (the late Louis), Iola Spears (the late Greg), John McElroy (the late Kathrine), and William McElroy. Also survived by her adoring grandchildren, Jessica Leigh Walsh and John J. Walsh, V and many nieces and nephews. Frances formerly worked the snack bars at Garden Bowl and K-Mart in Chalmette, LA. She dearly loved her family and will be remembered fondly and missed with all our hearts. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Covenant United Methodist Church, 115 East D’Amour St., Chalmette, LA 70043 on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 am. Visitation at church from 10:00 am until service time. A Celebration of Life will continue in the fellowship hall following the service. The family would like to extend their gratitude to North Oaks Medical Center for their compassion and service.
