Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2015/st1507.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== HURLEY ROY EVERARD, age 89 years, born in New Orleans on August 20, 1925, entered Heaven’s gates at his home in Slidell, LA, on Friday, July 10, 2015. Hurley was married to Jennie Schembre Everard for 63 years, whom he often referred to as “BOO”. He was predeceased by Jennie and 3 of their seven children, Frann, Hurley and Lynn E. Quebedaux. Son of the late Allen and Ellen Everard. Brother of Allen Everard, Jr. Hurley will live on in the memories of his surviving children; Anne Bankston, Jann Tilley, his first son, David, and his wife,Carmel, youngest son, Elliott, and his wife, Angie; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; Amanda Bankston and daughter Jasmine, Lauren Canti and children Madeline, Isaac and Bialy, Adrienne Quebedaux Seuzeneau and children Savannah and Katelynn, Alexander Quebedaux and son Roy, Jordan Tilley-Rodriguez and daughter Emily, Taylor Everard, Blake Everard and Jack Everard. Hurley was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in WWII. He provided well for his family and was happiest when surrounded by his family and submersed in his work. The family will receive friends in a Celebration of Hurley’s life at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 Westchester, Slidell, La. on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, La. Visitation at the church on Friday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.
