Shirley Parker King passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at home in Baton 
Rouge, LA. She was born on January 20, 1934 in Ponchatoula, LA to the late 
Minois Phillip Parker and Mamie Raiford Parker

Shirley was married to her beloved husband, William Richard King, for 40 years. 
She was the loving mother of the late Harvey Brown, Jr. Shirley was the sister 
of Patricia P. Hamilton (the late John, Sr.) and the late Dorothy Dennison (the 
late John). 

Special thanks to Dana, Phyllis, and Cardinal Hospice, Baton Rouge, LA, for 
their gentle care and support.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Services at E.J. Fielding 
Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, August 3, 
2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment 
will follow the service at Maryetta Cemetery, Bush, LA.
