JANET L MATTEI, 76, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015.
Beloved Wife of Wade Mattei Sr.;

Mother of Wade Mattei Jr. (Susan), and Bret Mattei (Rhonda);
Daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Lussan;
Sister of Joyce Planas, Ronald Shaw, and the late Evelyn Vadell, Myrle Vogel, 
Lorraine Markitto, Louis Shaw Jr.;
Also survived by four grandchildren: Ryan, Kristen, Elizabeth, and Josh.

A native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for the past 23 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
A Memorial Service will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 9:00am.

Special thanks to Slidell Memorial Hospital nurses and doctors, the Slidell 
Cancer Center, and St. Catherine Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American 
Cancer Society in Janet’s name.
