Gloria “Yoya” Boesch McDaniel passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 in Slidell, 
LA. 

She was born on Monday, February 3, 1930 in La Masica, Honduras to Lilian 
Collins and Jose Antonio Boesch, was a long time resident of Metairie before 
moving to Slidell in 2000. 
A generous and compassionate mother and grandmother, she will be fondly 
remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family.

The beloved wife of the late Alfred “Dan” McDaniel, she is survived by three 
sons – Alfred Dan, Jr. (Adelaida), Gary D. (Luz Maria) and Kenneth P. McDaniel; 
daughter-in-law – Suzy Guichard McDaniel; eight grandchildren - Elyse, Kelvin 
Paul, Jr. (Kylie), Michael, Andrew, Kristen, Andrea, Gary and Kevin McDaniel. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son – Dr. Kelvin McDaniel.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at 11:00 AM on 
Thursday, July 23, 2015 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. 
Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin at 9:00 AM on Thursday.

Interment at the St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery will immediately follow mass.
