She was known to all as “Miss B.” She was born August 6, 1920 to Ida Kidder and Wade Taylor of Arnaudville, LA. She has lived in Covington for over 50 years. Bunice goes forward to meet her family who have passed: her parents; her husband, Jesse; daughter Jessie L., and grand-daughter Melissa Louise; sisters, Agnes Trahan, Ida Mae Fitzsimons and Uneadth Taylor; brothers, Paul, Wallace, Lawrence, Francis, A.J. and Timmy. She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Ingalls and her husband, Tim; grandchildren: Carla Marks; John, Max, Timothy and Christopher Ingalls, and Emily Ingalls Brassard; great-grand-children: Raleigh and Matthew King; Grace, Leila, Fisher, and Aydan Brassard; Trey, Hailey, Juniper, and Taylor-Jane Ingalls; brothers, Leland and Raleigh; and many nieces and nephews here in Louisiana and spread throughout the country. Bunice worked in the cafeteria at St. Paul’s School for over 21 years, where she retired. She was diligent and caring, but a force to be reckoned with. A willing servant and the nucleus of a strong family who loved her dearly. Bunice was a simple woman, and a tenaciously hard worker, but took the time to take care of herself. She loved jewelry, and always wanted to look her best. She had a love and appreciation for flowers and butterflies. She made the most amazing gumbo and crawfish étouffée, and delicious butter butter cookies. She was a devout Christian, and faithful to the Lord. She has travelled all over the country, from Alaska to New York, even making her way up into Canada to see Nova Scotia. She made an impression on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, July 11, 2014, 3:00pm at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm until service time. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. ===================
