Murray, born on October 17, 1918 in Lima, Peru, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Lacombe Heart Hospital, at the age of 96. She was a longtime resident of New Orleans and a resident of Lacombe for the past five years. Aida graduated from Mississippi Southern College and worked in the import and export business for many years. She was also the President of the New Orleans Traffic Club for several years in the late 1970s. Aida is survived by her three children, Jose R. Cavero, Consuelo Rodriquez, and Vilma Stilley; her brother, Fernando Samillan Cavero of Peru; four grandchildren, Dennis A. Perry, Elizabeth Cailier, Michael Rodriguez, and Suzette Brooks; and her niece who was like a daughter, Norma Fousch. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren, who loved her very much. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Aida Cavero; her grandson, Andrew Perry; her parents, Magdalena Cavero and Fernando Samillan Baca; three sisters, Martha Segovia, Irma Samillan, and Dora Aguilera; and a special great grandson, Andrew Perry. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Visitation from 12:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery. ===================
