Shoultz, Jr. passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 surrounded by his family at his home in Covington, LA. He was born on November 22, 1933 in Covington, LA to the late James E. Shoultz, Sr. and Ida Gottschalk Shoultz. Jim was married to his beloved wife, Ellen Smith Shoultz for 60 years and together they had four children, Janie S. Jenkins (the late Craig), William J. Shoultz, Robert A. Shoultz (Vivian), and Thomas E. Shoultz (Jodi). He was the proud grandfather of Jennifer, Josh, and Jessica Jenkins, Joel Shoultz, Sara, Amanda, Katie, Andrew, and the late Abigail Shoultz, Nick, Jacob, and Chloe Shoultz. Jim will be greatly missed by seven great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Norman G. Shoultz, the late Ruth S. Rayburn, Henry C. Shoultz, and Paul S. Shoultz. Jim was a graduate of Covington High School and attended Tulane University in New Orleans. He served in the U.S. Army after the Korean War. Jim began his life-long career as a water well contractor in St. Tammany Parish at the age of twelve. He will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Covington Food Bank. US Army ===================
