Marilyn Margaret Menendez Hargis passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 25, 
2015 in Mandeville, LA. She was born on Friday, June 28, 1946 in Key West, FL 
to Kathryn Mitchell and Joseph Newell Menendez and has been a resident of 
Mandeville, LA since 1979.

The beloved wife of Earl P. Hargis, Jr., she is survived by three daughters - 
Hope Sharp (Paul), Hollie Duet (Jeff) and Windy Monticino (Sid); her sister - 
Rosilyn Lewis and nine grandchildren - Spencer, Brandon and Jacob Sharp, Justin 
and Joshua Sticker, Reagan and Hallie Rogers, Megan and Julia Monticino.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers - Boyd and Graden 
Menendez.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial services at 4:00 PM on 
Friday, August 28, 2015 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. 
Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours on Friday will begin at 2:00 PM.

Interment at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell will take 
place privately and at a later date.
