Shirley Bernice Bush Tycer went home to meet her Heavenly Father on Friday, 
August 7, 2015 at the age of 84.

Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Marshall Douglas Tycer. Loving mother of 
Marshall Douglas Tycer, Jr. and Janet Tycer Lee ( Pevey). Daughter of the late 
Bashie Hano Bush and Elvin Randolph Bush. Sister of Lois Bush Miller, Robert J. 
Bush and the late Margueritte Bush Chaplain. Grandmother of Thomas Pevey Lee, 
Jr. (Rebecca), Reuben Tycer Lee (fiance’, Katelyn) and Shirley Elizabeth Lee 
Blackwell (Aaron). Great-grandmother of Caroline Elizabeth Lee.

Shirley was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who dedicated her life 
caring for her family. Her kitchen was always open to any friends and relatives 
who stopped by to visit.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at, First 
Baptist Church of Covington, 16333 Hwy 1085, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, 
August 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation at church on Tuesday beginning at 
9:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Tycer to be 
made to First Baptist Church of Covington.
