ASSUNTA “SUE” VITAGLIANO YOUNG, age 76 years, of Slidell, LA on Monday August 
31, 2015.

Born in Naples, Italy to Andrea and Anna Romano Vitagliano.

Sue and her husband, Charles Young were married in Naples 50 years ago where 
her daughters, Rosalie Young and Ann Young Sergi were born.
Her son, Calvin Young, was later born in Metairie and now resides in Houston, 
Tx., with his wife, Karen and his family.

Sue is the loving grandmother(Nonna) of Casey Sergi, Guy Sergi, Calvin Young, 
Jr., Cole, Taylor and Charles Young.
Also survived by a son-in-law, Gaetano (Guy) Sergi, dear friend Darrel Draper, 
sister-in-law Rosalie and husband Jim Quigley, brother-in-law Estin Young and 
wife Margaret, sister-in-law Mary Young, a brother, Luigi Vitagliano of Italy 
and a host of nieces, and nephews, both abroad and locally.

Former retired owner of Assunta’s Italian Restaurant in Slidell and fondly 
remembered as “Aunt Susie”.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Mass at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation on Saturday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Donations to the Smile Train, or to St. Genevieve Catholic Church, preferred, 
in lieu of flowers.
