Mrs. Shirley Talley Breaux entered into eternal rest on the morning of 
September 17, 2015 at the age of 81.

She was born on September 14, 1934 to the late Fred Talley and the late Irma 
Foret Berlier of New Orleans. Beloved wife of John S. Breaux, Sr. Beloved 
mother of John, Jr., Chris (wife Rhonda), Barry (wife Melinda) and Kenny (wife 
Toni) Breaux. Beloved sister of Beverly Talley Landry (husband Tom), Jeffrey 
Berlier (wife Paula) and Gregory Berlier. Beloved grandmother of Megan, 
Christopher, Jr., Gavin, Macie, Kenny, Jr., and Eric Breaux. Loving great 
grandmother of Molly Kate and the beloved late Taylor Anthony Fussell.

Shirley’s deep love for educating young people touched countless children’s and 
parents’ lives through her many years as an endeared grammar school teacher at 
St. Christopher Catholic School and through her generous education-related 
volunteer work after her retirement. Shirley’s sense of humor was unique and 
touching, and her love for her family was paramount throughout her life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation and memorial Mass on 
Saturday, September 26, 2015 to be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church located 
at 20370 Smith Road, Covington, LA 70435. Visitation from 10:00 AM until Mass 
at 11:00 AM.
