He is the son of Wilbur and Annette Bucher of Lancaster, PA. Barry graduated from Millersville University and was self-employed. He had previously worked for Volunteers in Probation and Parole of Lancaster County. He lived in Louisiana for the past 35 years and owned his own company. Outside of work, Barry enjoyed riding his motorcycle, boating, attending church, and watching the Saints. Barry is survived by his wife Deborah, son Sean, two cats and his Harley- Davidson, all of whom he loved dearly (but not necessarily in that order). Also surviving are a sister, Jeannette Malinzak (David), three sisters-in-laws with two brothers-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces and innumerable friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Debra. Barry lived his life with great faith, love and caring, and lots of humor and wit. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Abita Springs, 22139 Level St., Abita Springs, LA on Saturday, September 19th at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service in the Church Fellowship Hall.
