BRAXTON LANCE EASTLAND, age one and one half, of Slidell, LA, passed away on 
Wednesday, September 23, 2015,
at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.

He is survived by his Mom Heather Widas, Dad Kyle Eastland, Maw Maw Fran 
Kinsey, Paw Paw Tommy Smotherman, MeMe Brenda Solmon, Poppy Fred Widas, Paw Paw 
Karl F. Widas Sr., Grandfather Lamar Eastland, “GiGi” Jennifer Rodriguez, Aunt 
Tricia Pennell, Aunt Cheryl Hayes, Aunt Elaine Geringer, PK Karl S. Widas 
Jr.,and Nana Denise Wider.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to wear red or Mickey Mouse 
attire at the funeral.
Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at 1:00 P.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 11:00am.

Burial will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

The family would like to express their appreciation to their friends, all home 
health care nurses, the staff of Childrens Hospital, and all involved in 
“Braxtons’ Journey”.
