Allen B Smith III passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2015, at the 
age of 86. 

He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife of nearly 61 years, Janis 
Dupre Smith; siblings, Barbara Ann and Tykie as well as many nieces, nephews 
and other relatives. 

Allen and Janis lived in New Orleans, Arabi and most recently in Lacombe, 
Louisiana. Allen loved the New Orleans Saints, watching golf, horse racing and 
fishing. He was a self-employed fisherman and a very talented baseball player 
at Holy Cross. Allen was a member of WE DE K.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend his Celebration of 
Life Memorial Service at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Highway 36, Covington, 
Louisiana 70433, Saturday, September 12, 2015, 11:30 am. Visitation will be 
held from 10:30 am until the hour of Service. 

A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
