ADAMS JR, 87, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015, in Slidell. Beloved Husband of Eleanor Boone Adams, and the late Dolores Dewey Adams by first marriage; Father of Michael Adams (Shirley), Stephanie Atkinson (Keith), Melanie Tetrick (Craig), Laura Roby (Joey), Patrick Adams (Amy), Colleen Capponi (Brad), and the late Larry Adams; father-in-law of Judy Adams; Son of the late Lloyd W. and Consuelo Adams; Stepfather of Donna Weixel (Elliott), Joe Courtney (Nelly), Brian Courtney (Donavisa), Also survived by thirteen grandchildren: Kevin Adams, Stephen Adams, Melissa Hammerli, Kelly Heap, Krissy Diaz, Jennifer Burrell, Russell Tetrick, Allison Tetrick, Melinda Muscenti, Jessica Roby, Brooke Adams, Brandon Adams, Logan Adams, ten great-grandchildren, twenty step-grandchildren, and eleven step- great-grandchildren. A native of New Orleans, and a resident of Slidell since 1978. He was a member of IBEW Local 130, St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Slidell, Knights of Columbus, and a U.S. Marine Corp veteran. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 11:00am. Burial will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
