Cynthia Kay (Perry) Blackledge passed away suddenly at her Pearl River, LA Home 
on October 15, 2015. 

Cindy was 56 years old, born in Gary, Indiana on December 17, 1958. She grew up 
in Chesterton, Indiana. Cindy graduated from a Portage, Indiana high school in 
1976. 

She lived the past 30 years in Pearl River, Louisiana with her husband John 
Lewis Blackledge Sr. and her 2 sons John Lewis Jr. and Justin Lee. Cindy is also 
survived by 1 grandchild Jaxton John Blackledge, her father George R. Perry of 
Alabama, sisters LeAnn Monjure of Mississippi and Tiffanie Reid of Georgia, 
brothers Bob Perry of Arizona, Jeff Perry of Alabama, and Chad Harris of 
Alabama, and numerous step siblings from Indiana, Florida, and Ohio. 

Cindy was preceded in death by her mother Mary Louise Pritchard of Indiana, 
maternal grandparents George and Eltha Pritchard of Indiana, paternal 
grandmother Mary Tucker of Alabama, and paternal grandfather Robert Perry of 
Alabama, step father Bill Reid of Indiana, and step sister Sandra Spinner of 
Indiana. 

We lost a beautiful soul in our family today, but we will never forget that 
radiant smile and her sweet personality that lit up the room when she walked in. 
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister whom never met 

a stranger. We will all miss her. 
Rest in Peace, till we meet again. God Bless your Soul. 

Memorial service will be held at the family home in Pearl River, Louisiana on 
Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 4:00PM. 

D.T. Williams Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
