Beloved wife and soul mate of 47 years to William “Billy” G. Finnan, Jr. Devoted, loving mother of Stephanie Finnan Dichiara (Joe). Loving “Granny Smith Apple Pie” of Victoria Dene’ Brackett, who was the apple of her eye. Loving grand of Benjamin J. Dichiara (Ashley), and Kurt E. Dichiara. Loving great- grand of Drake J. Dichiara and Elise R. Dichiara. Daughter of Gloria C. Griffin and the late Wilbert “Red” Griffin, Sr. Sister of Wilbert “Bert” Griffin, Jr. (Liz), Dela Griffin Herrington (Steve), and the late Dwayne A. Griffin. Godmother to Shana G. Verdin, Kathleen C. Lopiparo, and Dana H. Menesses. She is also survived, and will be greatly missed, by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the physicians and nursing staff of the ICU at St. Tammany Parish Hospital and Passages Hospice for all they did to make her comfortable in her last days. We would like to express our deep gratitude to the many family and friends that prayed so diligently for her. We cannot express enough what power there is in prayer. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 12:00pm on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte Street, Mandeville, LA 70448. A time of remembrance will be held at the church from 11:00am until the mass. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in her name to one of her favorite charities which include NO/AIDS Task Force, American Cancer Society, ST.
