Margaret “Maggie” Werner Kothmann of Slidell, LA died on Thursday, October 1, 
2015, at the age of 88 after a short illness. 

Beloved wife of the late Theodore J. Kothmann. Mother of Barbara K. James and 
Charles J. Kothmann. Daughter of the late Nellie Grace Marquez and George A. 
Marquez. 
She is survived by granddaughters Jennifer Thibodeaux, Rebecca Peters, Kathryn 
Lear and Danica Babaz, and grandson, Derek Kothmann. She is also survived by 10 
great grandchildren. 

A native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for the past 31 years.
A former long time employee of the main office of The A & P Tea Company. She 
graduated from The Academy of the Holy Angels in New Orleans and the 
Comptometer Business School. 
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Slidell and The Sarah Sunday 
School Class. 

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at CALVARY BAPTIST 
CHURCH at 1615 Old Spanish Trail at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 7, 2015. 
Visitation will be from 10:00 until service time. 

Donations to Calvary Baptist Church or Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home are 
preferred.
