Jeffrey Dale Rusk passed away at his home on Oct. 11, 2015, in the presence of 
his loving family after a three-year courageous battle with cancer. 

He is the beloved husband of Deborah Wiemers Rusk for 44 years, loving father of 
Jason (Tracy Steilberg) and Justin, and proud grandfather of Kylie Rusk.

He was born on August 15, 1950, in Clinton, La., to the late Helen Dunaway and 
Thomas J. Rusk, Jr., and is survived by his dear stepmother, Patsy Sanders Rusk, 
and his mother-in-law, Mary Nicosia Wiemers.
He is survived by his four brothers, Steve, Richard, David and Lynn Rusk, and 
sister Wanda "Sue" Jeter, as well as his devoted nieces, Ashly Collins Guillot 
(married to G. Michael Guillot), Stephanie N. Collins, and Shaw Lynn Douglas.

He was the owner of Rusk A/C & Heating, and will be forever
remembered for his passion for helping his customers. 

Special thanks to AmeriCare Hospice, as well as nieces Stephanie and Ashly for 
all the care and support they showed, but more importantly to John and Kim 
Duvieilh, whose friendship and compassion can never be measured.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at 11:00am, at 
Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 Westchester Blvd, Slidell LA, 70458.
Friends may visit at the church on Thursday, beginning at 9:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
