RONALD GENE RUTLEDGE, 83, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 
2015, in Slidell.

Beloved Husband of Rebecca Rutledge;

Father of Steve Rutledge, Sherry Thomas, Susie Rutledge, and the late 
DianaRutledge; Step-Father of Gordon Thomas,Jeffrey Thomas (Lisa), and Carla 
Thomas;
Son of the late George and Marguerite Rutledge;
Brother of the late Charlene Pitcock;
Also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and two 
great-great-grandchildren.

A native of Elgin, Kansas, and a resident of Slidell for over 40 years. He was a 
U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and retired from Martin Marietta.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN 
FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 12:00 P.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 10:00am.

Burial will be in Southeast Lousiana Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Slidell Noon Lions Club, or VFW 
Post 5735.
