BERNARDETTE NOWAK-SMIRA, age 74, of Slidell, LA passed away on Monday, October 
26, 2015.

Beloved Wife of the late Albert Smira.
Daughter of the late Bernard and Helen Lusk Nowak.
Sister of Bernard “Buzz” Nowak.
Also survived by her neice, Brandi Nowak Dalton(Jeff), a nephew, Shawn 
Nowak(Kimmie), Lonnie Ziegel(Ellen), great nieces and nephews, Brock Nowak, 
Brennan Nowak, Kahle Dalton, Kenzie Dalton, Ryan Ziegel and Hailey Ziegel.

A native of New Orleans, former resident of Chalmette and a resident of Slidell 
since Hurricane Katrina.
Retired Part Owner Nowak Dental Supplies.
She was a member of AARP.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Saturday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time
