James ”Skip” R. Easterling of Carriere, MS, passed away on Saturday, November 
21, 2015, he was 70 years old.  

Beloved husband of Carol G. Easterling.   Father of: Ryna Bennett; Paul 
Strickland; Gerald Easterling; Terrance Easterling.   Son of Jerrie Matthews and 
the late James Luther Easterling.   Brother of: David Leehans; Kimberly 
Easterling; Rita Easterling; and Lucinda Easterling. Also survived by his loving 
grandchildren and great grandchildren.    

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Services at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA, on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.    

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY, Slidell, La.  

Visitation on Monday, November 30, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
